Dr. Rishika Kumar is currently working as a full time Periodontist at The Dental Specialists, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. She has completed her B.D.S from Sharad Pawar Dental College, Wardha ,Maharashtra and Post graduation (MDS) from JSS Dental College and Hospital, Mysore which is one of the reputed private dental colleges in India. She is a trained and certified periodontist who specialises in soft tissue laser applications in dentistry. She expertises in bone regeneration in periodontal diseases with PRF membranes, soft tissue grafting for gum recessions, dental implants, lasers and treatment of Halitosis. Her interests include link between gum diseases and systemic health conditions/Pregnancy and implant therapy. She has attended and presented in many national and international conferences with various scientific publications to her name. She is also a member of various scientific organizations such as Indian Society Of Periodontology. Her approach to dentistry promotes continuity of care that is comprehensive, convenient, cost effective, efficient and patient centred with a final goal that the oral health can be maintained with proper oral hygiene routine.
